Director of Instructional Design and Development at Anatolia College
Haido Samaras has been a Computer Instructor at Anatolia College of Thessaloniki for the past 22 years. She holds a BSc in Mathematics, a BA degree in English Language and Literature, a Masters degree in Information Systems and a PhD in the field of Computer Science. She has published widely on E-learning in journals and conference proceedings. She created ACSTAC, a student-simulated science and technology conference hosted annually at Anatolia College, which attracts hundreds of students from around the world and the Math and Logic Competition ,also hosted annually at Anatolia College,which is based on teams of 3 students solving logic and mathematical puzzles. She is currently the Director of Instructional Design and Development at Anatolia College where she organizes the annual teAch symposium for teachers to present their innovative teaching approaches and ideas. She is also one of the CodeGirls instructors, a program which has been co-organized and implemented by the American Embassy and the Mataroa NGO in multiple rural cities of Greece for the last four years.
